Global Refuge (formerly Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization that provides direct services, programs, and advocacy for refugees, asylum seekers, and other immigrants. Founded in 1939 and headquartered in Baltimore, the organization operates national and local programs (including welcome centers) and a partner network to support newcomers as they resettle and rebuild life in the United States.
