Student Veterans of America (SVA) operates a national network of over 1,600 on‑campus chapters to support student veterans and military‑connected students in higher education. The organization provides resources, network support, leadership development, and advocacy aimed at helping student veterans transition to, succeed in, and move beyond higher education.
SVA runs and coordinates programs and events such as an annual National Conference, Washington Week (policy and advocacy activities on Capitol Hill and with the executive branch), regional summits, a Leadership Institute, a VFW‑SVA Legislative Fellowship, and campus Chapter Visits. It maintains a chapter directory to connect student veterans with local chapters and partners with employers, higher education professionals, nonprofits, and government agencies on programming and policy priorities.
