The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) is the national organization serving Unitarian Universalist congregations and affiliated communities in the United States. It produces and curates theological and worship resources, curricula and religious-education programs (including lifespan curricula and sexuality education), and materials for congregational life. The UUA supports congregations and ministers through leadership training, ministerial career pathways and transitions, credentialing and data/certification services, financial and administrative services, and guidance on safe-congregation practices. The UUA also convenes the denomination’s annual General Assembly, issues public statements and press releases, runs justice and advocacy programs on issues such as racial justice, climate and environmental justice, immigration, LGBTQ inclusion, economic and reproductive justice, and provides grants and funding initiatives to support new community ministry. It publishes materials, operates a bookstore, offers online libraries (worship and program resources), and maintains governance, regional, and staff directories for the movement.
