Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) is an organization of physicians and health professionals that advocates for a single‑payer national health program (often described as “improved Medicare for All”). The group develops and promotes policy proposals, research reports, and educational materials arguing that a single‑payer system would provide universal coverage and comprehensive benefits while reducing administrative waste and private insurance intermediaries.
